Who we are
We’re Trish and Blair, a mother-daughter team growing fall garden mums on our family farm in Central Ohio. Our story is rooted in generations of hard work and a deep love for the land. Trish grew up just a few miles away on a grain and livestock farm, where a passion for farming was handed down through six generations. Today, Blair proudly represents the seventh generation to be raised on our family farm.
While Trish never imagined she'd one day be growing mums, life has a way of leading us to unexpected and wonderful places. Blair has loved flowers from the very beginning and, at just six years old, she began dreaming of a big greenhouse — a place where people could visit and choose beautiful flowers for their homes. Her determination (and a little bit of negotiation) led us to start growing fall garden mums — and we’re so thankful we said yes.
Of course, we couldn’t do it alone. Trish’s mom and Blair’s grandma, Sue, is an integral part of Stillwater Mums and the driving force behind our success. Her lifelong knowledge of farming, strong work ethic, and endless encouragement keep our operation thriving — and we’re so grateful to have three generations working side-by-side.
Our mums complement our grain farm beautifully. With today’s larger farm equipment and operations, it's harder for younger generations to be involved in every aspect of growing corn and soybeans. Still, the mums offer Blair a hands-on way to learn and stay connected to our agricultural roots.
At Stillwater Mums, growing flowers is more than a business — it’s a family tradition, a learning experience, and a labor of love. We can’t wait to share our blooms with you!
